Never Trust Photos Hotels Post Online!

I recently came across a great article that showed how hotels completely fooled their customers into thinking they were in for one type of experience, when in reality they were in a for a completely different and much less pleasent experience.

Take this example. Look at this photo posted by the Hyatt Regency in Washington – look how close it is to the U.S. Capital Building, no?

Now, look at a real photo. The Hyatt Regency Washington is certainly located near the U.S. Capitol building, but not as near as the hotel website’s photo, taken with a zoom lens, indicates.

Here’s another example. Look at this photo taken showing the fantastic atmosphere, lush foliage, cushioned lounge chairs and patterned Jacuzzi tiles that make the Breezes Montego Bay hot tub look like a tropical paradise.

Too bad they don’t actually exist.
